Status: The Stadium Drive-In was once part of the old Stadium Arena which was built in 1950. The drive-in used a portion of the arena
parking lot, and the screen was attached to the arena building. The years of operation are unknown. The Stadium Arena was renovated
and renamed The Deltaplex in 1998. The 4,500 seat arena hosted the rock band AC/DC in 2000 as they prepared for a world tour.

Update: The Stadium Arena is now know as the Deltaplex...."The DeltaPlex is West Michigan's fastest growing venue for Concerts,
Exhibitions, Trade Shows, Business Meetings and Sporting Events. Attendance at the DeltaPlex has doubled each year since our
opening in 1998 to nearly 250,000 visitors annually! DeltaPlex rental fees are affordable and value packed and our professional
staff can help you in all aspects of the production and promotion of your event. The DeltaPlex is conveniently located at the center
of three major highways in west Michigan: Just East of US-131 and two miles north of the US-131/I-196 interchange in downtown
Grand Rapids, MI and three miles south of the US-131/I-96 interchange that traverses the northern half of the city. The DeltaPlex
is just one half hour from Holland, Grand Haven and Muskegon, an hour from Kalamazoo and just a little more than an hour from
Lansing. Acres of on-site parking can be found immediately adjacent to the complex. Built in 1950, the DeltaPlex began life as the
Stadium Arena. The facility evolved through the decades and hosted a number of concepts until being purchased by the Langlois
family in the late '90s. An extensive, ground-up restoration and remodeling regimen followed and the newly christened DeltaPlex
opened its doors in 1998. The DeltaPlex can stage virtually any touring musical event in its 4,500 seat arena. Indeed the building
hosted world renowned rock act AC/DC for nearly two weeks as the group rehearsed and prepared their extravagant 2000/2001
world tour in the facility. We have designed this site to inform you about every facet of The DeltaPlex Entertainment and Expo
Center and we look forward to your visit!" (Deltaplex Website)
