Miracle Twin Drive-In Theater
History & Comments

Update: The Miracle Twin reopened for the 2003 season on April 18th. Why this drive-in survives while National Amusements closes their indoor theatres left and right is a mystery. Maybe they have forgotten they still own a drive-in!? (Michigandriveins.com 5/2/03)

Update: I had 3 great seasons working at the Miracle Twin in the early 80's as a cashier and lot man, the lot man job was great! We would check cars for people in trunks! They could never figure out how we knew they had people in the trunk! The secret was???? We would look for foot prints on the bumper or hand prints on the trunk lids of the car! That easy ! We caught alot them ! Man that was fun! The most we ever caught at one time was 7 girls piled in a trunk at once! ha -ha Thanx for letting me share that with you. (Joe Snyder 3/6/04)

UPDATE: THIS YEAR WAS THE FIRST YEAR I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK AT THE DRIVE IN AS A CASHIER AND LOVED IT. I HAD MY FUN WATCHING THE USHERS CATCH PEOPLE IN THE TRUNKS OF THE CARS AND PEOPLE FULL OF EXCITEMENT BRINGING THERE KIDS TO THE DRIVE IN AND IT BEING THE CHILDRENS FIRST TIME BEING THERE, IT WAS GREAT AND I MISS IT A LOT. I HAD MADE ALOT OF FRIENDS AND ALOT OF MEMORIES IN THAT SH0RT PERIOD,BUT MOST OF ALL IT WAS AWESOME TO WATCH A FREE MOVIE BEFORE IT CAME OUT TO THE PUBLIC AND LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THE MOVIE. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE AT MIRACLE TWIN DRIVE IN FOR A VERY FUN AND ENJOYABLE TIME. I WILL MISS ALL OF YOU. (MICHELLE NICHOLS 7/8/04)

Update: The Miracle Twin reopened for the 2005 season on April 15th with the remake of "The Amityville Horror" and "Beauty Shop" (another horror I'm sure) on the Red Screen and "Sin City" and "Hostage" on the Blue Screen. The Miracle Twin Swap N Shop Flea Market also opened for business, on Saturday April 16th. You can rent a space for $15.00 to sell your junk. Entry and parking for buyers is free. The snack bar and restrooms are open for the Swap N Shop. Call 810-744-0546 for Swap N Shop weekend hours. Owner National Amusements also plans to reopen its two other remaining drive-in's in 2005 as well, the Oakley Drive-In in Cincinnati Ohio and the Kenwood Drive-In in Louisville Kentuckey.
