News Article: To Build Drive-In - Jackson (AP) - The first drive-in theater in this area is to be constructed five miles east of Jackson on US-12 and will be open about May 1, it was annouced Friday by Robert Crary, attorney for Detoriter Raymond P. Ridge who heads the Jackson Drive-In Corp. Crary said Ridge and his associates would build similar theaters in several other Southern Michigan communities. (The Owosso Argus-Press 11/8/47)

Jackson and Belair drive-ins at
Jackson. The circuit's architects are already involved with major reconstruction and expansion plans for the theatres, from a total
