Update: The trashed Burnside snackbar remains standing. An inspection found the sound panel,
a film rewinder, the projector pedestals and a very large neon "IN" sign inside.

Update: Being from Michigan (Detroit area, and having grandparents in the Marlette/thumb area),
I have many fond memories of Michigan Drive Ins of the 50's and 60's.....We used to go to the
Burnside Drive In too. That was distinctive in that the wooden screen tower had a beautiful
mural of a pheasant rising out of a Michigan field painted on the back facing the road.
